A native of Trinidad & Tobago with a list of accomplishments attributable to both his life and music, his first album “Judgement Time” was released in 2002,  Ras Ijah was nominated for Reggae Artist of the year (Irwarna Music Awards), only to repeat the feat as Reggae Artist of the year nominee (2012 A.I.R.M Awards) after releasing album "Lightning & Thundah".
